Moving info from HUD center

I've been looking around the forum, but haven't found an answer yet.

In the middle of the HUD there are Aura's, castbar, range displayed.
Is there any way to move those down a bit. As atm they are dead center of my screen, overlapping the view of my character.

I have seen UIs where this info is in a different spot, but Í can't find a post on how to accomplish that.

Pls help.



I actually chose a different UI template and put totemtimers above my bar 1, to fill up the gap between the lower part and the debuffs are on my screen.
As you can see, the cooldowns, debuffs on target and my castbar are in the middle of my character.

They should not be dead center. Could you please post a screen shot so I can see what you're dealing with (just click the paperclip icon in the message editor to upload the screen shot into your message).

In any event, everything is movable. You would need to edit the skin files in the [ Interface > AddOns > nUI > Layouts > Default > HUDLayouts > {hud mode} ] folder. The HOT/DOT bar is part of the nUI_HUDSkin_{hud mode}_Target.lua file in the ["Aura"][2] section while the Range indicator is in the ["Range"] section of the same file. The location of the casting bar is set in the nUI_HUDSkin_{hud mode}_Castbar.lua file. The location of the cooldown bar is set in the nUI_HUDLayout_{hud mode}.lua file in the cooldown_bar = section.

In each case you'll find a "anchor" section... changing the values of xOfs and yOfs in that section will move the element left/right or up/down. Negative values move the segment left or down and positive values move them right or up.

Also, what other addons do you still have active. It is quite possible these are other addons you thought you still needed but probably won't need to anymore.

Only 1 question, what variable do I need to adjust to change the opacity of the debuffs. I want to have them on 100% visible like the cooldowns.

They will be 100% opacity while you are in combat... the reduced opacity only occurs out of combat.

I have tried editing the files as suggested in this post but no joy, I would much prefer to have the castbar lower than it currently is as show on the attachment, could you pls give me some more detailed instructions on doing this

Changing yOfs to a negative number will move it down the screen. Restore the files back to the last successful change or start over as your choice and change just that.

You will find that changing one thing at a time and doing a /nui rl before moving on will allow you to see each individual change's affect to the display.
