Read the FAQ

/nui movers will let you move stuff. Type it again after you're done moving things.

To make them opaque I think you'd have to change the lua files - I'm sure someone with more direct knowledge there will chime in shortly.

You have access to the slash commands. Typing /nui will list them for you. Also, there is a UI that handles those commands as well as my own LDB version.

HUD transparency if I recall rightly can be handled with the slash commands or the addons I mentioned just now. If you don't like the hud at all you could switch it to simple hud ( the red button at the top ) and see if that is more to your liking.

Then, once you have played around with it for a while further customising can be down with some changes to the layout files to rearrange stuff not changeable via /nui movers.

Take a look at the other addons that work with nUI in case there is something you like there or will find useful.

The HUD bars are opaque when you're in combat, they are mostly transparent when you're just healing or ticking off a debuff, etc., so they don't interfere with your world view so much.

If you're hard set on changing that, you can use the slash commands for the HUD transparencies or I believe Kodewulf's configuration tool will allow you to change the opacity values for the HUD.

So check out the "nUI: Enhancements" download area at http://files.nUIaddon.com or check out the FAQ for the slash commands here: http://www.wowinterface.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=21199
