Ingame pop-up

Alrite i get this big as shield that pops up in the middle of the scren while i play it shows my CPU temperature some MHZ and other **** is this an addon? i tried virus scans but noting

It can't possibly be an addon. Do you have an Asus board? If so, you may have a program they installed. Look through your programs list for pretty much anything that starts with "AI" (the typical naming convention of Asus).

Again, what you are describing cannot possibly be done by an addon. It will have to be some other program, unless it is just making up numbers.

Can you take a screen capture of the window that pops up? Like Shirik said it may be a monitoring program that came with your motherboard or your system manufacture installed and it may be popping up to warn you of high temps or a slow fan.

i'll put money on it being a mod that comes with your motherboard. If it looks like a big "shield" that is. If its the one im thinking of its got like a temp gauge, an tachometer looking thingy, and it curves up on the top and bottom with relatively flat sides? it gets larger as it goes from your left to your right. If that sounds like it its just something that comes as part of an Asus board as was mentioned. Shouldn't be anyway spyware or game software. No spyware is typically helpful enough to implement a bios system that monitors your CPU performance.
