Rogue Tips havent played for 2 years+

So ive got a level 70 rogue from 2 - 3 years ago the only char i ever made. Ive wanted to start playing again so i bought the wotlk and cataclysm expansions and a 60 day prepaid card. After logging in all my talents are reset so i need to respec i think but am not sure what build to make or should i scrap him and start over. Also i remember using addons but what are the essential ones nowadays. I loved playing the rogue and i wanna level him to 85 and love him once more. Im lost in the world now and its like im starting afresh as ive forgotten how to play
