off screen frames

I have a couple of frames that have ended up off-screen... at least any part that I could grab to move the frames around.

specifically my character info frame - where you can see your equipment, skills, etc.

any suggestions on how to move them back?

/mf reset should bring all frames back to their original position.

I tried everything, but I still cant move my battleground scoreboard frame into the screen. Its header is offscreen and i can only see like 3/4th of it. Any ideas please? Im searching for this for a few days now...

Having the same problem with BG frame.
Tried /mf reset, disabled/enabled mod, uninstalled/reinstalled mod, makes no difference.

Tried finding where the variables are stored, only place I found was in layout-cache.txt in wtf/.../character directory. Not sure if this is the right place but changing variables here doesn't seem to help.

I used /print GetMouseFocus():GetName() ingame to find frame name - worldstatescoreframe. Changed the x and y variables in layout-cache but they reset to -90, 125 whenever I reset UI.

Any help would be great.

I'm having this problem with the battleground field as well. This is definitely a widespread problem that'll need a fix.

There is a thread here that shows the code and line numbers to fix both the BG offset issue and other frames like the mail frame being off.

I actually went to the file you describe and removed the extra setting for my open mail frame, since that was my issue, but I would be nervous to do that for the BG one. See if you can find the thread, though?

I have this problem with the right clicked quest window. About 1/4 of it is off the top of the screen. /mf reset used to work on these issues for me but this one won't move. This only happens AFTER the 1st time it is opened. I did a new install if Mazzel and opened it, perfect placement. Closed it , opened it. It's off screen again. I can't keep reloading a UI when I look up a quest ...please help.

i tested it today...totally worked for me....my battlegrounds are back on the screen.

I was never having problems with the bg window in my situation. Here is a picture of my problems if anyone was confused.

When Blizzard Quest Log is open. You can see that it is above the fu_bar. There is suppose to be a whole other side to that.


When Blizzard Quest Log is minimized.
