Font Issue in Chat

Not sure if this is NUI or WoW itself but I use the new IM style chat setting and I also have font size set small (Size 12 instead of 14 on chat settintgs)

Most text is fine but when a user logs in or out that is either a friend or in guild as I have login notices for them turned on, the login notice is displayed but the font is corrupt. it looks almost like 2 messages are displayed on the same line and neither is readable.

If I set the font back to 14 pitch everything is fine and the font corruption seems to go away.

It also is only login messages, the pitch 12 font is fine on every other line.

Anyone else seen this issue?

DId you have two chat windows... one for normal chat and one for conversations overlapping each other? If they don't have a background color, that could be a problem.

I have not changed the default settings for NUI and even tried deleting my WTF folder to make sure I had not configured some weird combination of settings that was making me crazy.

Also like I said if I set the font back to default size 14, the issue is gone, put it back to 12 and it is back, it is really odd and has only been happening since the latest patch.

Hmm, when you say you switch to 14 and it goes away, what if you switch back to 12 does it come back ? It's possible just changing font sizes gets the chatframe to rewrite itself and thus stop the overwriting issue.

I'll see if I can get this to happen myself as I have those alerts running too.

No not that easy, it comes back when I set back to Font Size 12

I am not sure why it happens, it is just one of those weird things.

It could very well just be me as I have not seen this reported in any other thread, but I hope you can replicate. I would love some indication I am not insane
