completely unusable

ok last night i did the 1st update for nui+ and it worked fine..today i got the newest version and its all messed up..all the wow art is there.my map is up in the right upper corner now..completely unusable. i tried to go back to the archived one from yesterday after patch and still didnt work.any ideas?

should i delete it completely and reinstall? and which version is working?

Did you download it or are you on the e-mail update service?

What you're describing sounds to me like one of the integrated addons is throwing an error. Are you getting any error messages?

I would suggest that you try turning off everything except nUI itself and see if it loads. If not, let me know. Otherwise, start enabling your other addons one or two at a time until it breaks again, then we'll know which addon it causing the problem and can sort it out from there.

k the only other addons i uses is recount/omen, atlas, quest helper and a couple minor ones..like auctioneer. its weird cuz it worked fine last night. there was a new version of deadly boss mods this morning when i woke up and quest helper

ok my bad i think..i didnt see the .4 version..was doin the .2 version...works fine now..

on an unrelated note my friend is using nui also and cant get the dual stats window to work..any thoughts?

He needs to make sure that (a) the "Load Out of Date" addons option is checked in the "AddOns" section at the character selection screen and (b) he has the most current versions of both Omen3 and Recount and that neither of them is throwing an error.

I might also recommend using Skada instead of the combination of Omen3, Recount and Dual Stats... it does the job of all three addons in a single one.

Is Skada auto-supported with nUI? As in, will nUI auto configure it for the infopanel, as I don't see a plugin for it here.

Yes, like recount and omen as individual addons nUI has an infopanel set up for them.

If you simply add the addons and none of the available plugins nUI will place them in individual infopanels for you to scroll through.

I use Skada. I didn't have to do anything to have it work with nUI. and it displays both threat and dps, side by side in the infopanel.
