Hmm, zone out of an instance and problem disappears ?

Is it any instance or only those that came about in 3.3 ?

Could those that have been getting this problem able to confirm one way or another ?

I've only had this problem once, on my bank alt sitting by the AH in Silvermoon (I had just hopped from my main). Actually, it was yesterday. So I logged out (actually, I quit WoW altogether) and logged back in, and had no further problem.

BTW, Bugsack picked up about half a dozen different errors (I usually get none) when I logged into the alt and had the problem. Unfortunately, I didn't bother to look at them to see if they told anything useful.

Ok, it's not confined to the new instances. I was just in regular Utgarde Pinnacle, and it happened, again. Again, I had to log off, and back on, in order to bring it back.

I couldn't even "leave group", after the instance was done. But, I could port out, using the minimap icon.

It certainly has me baffled. I didn't have the problem at all, yesterday.

Are you by any chance switching between windows and non-windowed mode in combat?

Not sure if this is a factor to consider but stumbled on this addon having problems with instances.

Sounds like some of the bugs people have reported here are being reported there.

No, I am in Windows maximized mode all the time, as I have a second monitor running, in case I need to look up something, while doing my crafting, or if someone in guild channel wants to know something. In combat, it's all I can do, to concentrate on one screen! Hah!!

Interesting that you mention video settings, though...I will revisit my global settings, on my nvidia card. Maybe find a clue, there. Are there any settings, with respect to NUI, that I should look for? I'm running a single 260nvidia, with no Overclocking, if that helps...

Try turning off Transparency Anti-aliasing and Ambient Occlusion in the NVIDIA Control Panel.

NVIDIA PhysX drivers may have odd interactions with the video card's performance. If that is installed, try uninstalling or disabling the PhysX drivers.

Ok, I have shut off Occlusion and Transparency. I'll wait, on the Physx, until, or if, I see it happening again.
