Hermes
Hermes tracks your raid's cooldowns, and displays them using configurable buttons or bars. What's unique about Hermes is it's ability to tell you who "does" and "does not" have a particular cooldown available. If you're a raid leader, healer, tank or anyone who has to coordinate cooldowns, you'll appreciate the approach Hermes takes.
Hermes also tracks cooldowns of non Hermes users using it's Spell Monitor feature.
Release v2.3 Notes
This release includes significant changes since v2.2.
If upgrading from v2.2 or earlier, you will lose your existing container setup. Please visit the archived history page for full release notes.

By the way, I found a bug with sorting of senders that are out of range as well which I've fixed (thanks to you!) If you want to grab an interim build to toy with, you can find it here (r74): http://wow.curseforge.com/addons/hermes/files/72-r74/ |

Didn't seem to be able to find an option to only show people on cooldown. So I don't end up with a long list showing useless (to me) information. If they're not on cooldown I know they're available.

Re: nice addon
This isn't me being defensive (I promise!) but I'm not bothered by any addon that takes a couple meg of memory and have not optomized for it. I simply don't see it as a problem given the amount of memory people have in their computer these days. 1MB of 4GB? Not really anything to be concerned with. For performance, I have spent 95% of my energy focusing on CPU and keeping communication chatter to a minimum. I think investing 95% there, and 5% on a small memory footprint is the right choice! I'm open to discussions on memory being an issue of course. If it's causing you a real problem please let me know about it and I'll spend more time there. |

nice addon
Hi, Inthedrops what about the performanc of this addon? 295 Kb seams to be much, i can't test it now. But I used raid-cooldowns (64kb) before but it doesen't work anymore since 4.1.

Beta 1.1a released which does away with "tictacs" and uses more traditional bars. Significant UI refactor but the core remains the same. If you only use Buttons you will not notice a difference.

I just released 1.0e which should solve all concerns about Soulstones for Warlocks.
A couple relevant notes: 1) To get this improvement each Warlock needs to upgrade Hermes (as it's handled uniquely on their end). 2) When the Warlock first loads the game (or does a /reloadui) and has no Soulstone in their inventory, Hermes will assume that the spell is available by default. As soon as they create their first Soulstone, it will correctly update if it's not actually available. This is only an issue on initial startup, reloadui, game crash, etc.. Everything will be properly synced from that point on. Let me know if you see any weirdness (not covered by these notes). I put the change in pretty quick and tested all the scenarios I could think of but you never know! |

I've had a couple people being vocal about it but have so far opted not to handle Soulstones better. The more people that speak up the more I'll see what else I can do to improve it. For the most part, people have said it's not a game breaker to them. BTW, I've been using it in my guild before Cataclysm was released, and all through cat so far (4/12 hard modes at the moment on 25 man). We have about 16 people that run Hermes and except for Release 1.0c where I had a bug I missed, it's been very solid for us. Thanks for taking the time to comment when your experience and criticism. Much appreciated. I'll have to find a better way to handle those pesky Soulstones. |

My guild has been testing this out. Seems to work well enough.
My suggestion however is to fix the way soulstones are calculated. It only shows the cooldown on my screen for our warlock if he uses his soulstone then creates *another* stone to hold in his inventory. It seems like a better plan to check when he uses is based upon the combat log and set the cooldown based on that rather then checking the cooldown from the inventory item. Otherwise, working great |
