Plater is a handsome and light addon for nameplates!

Plater and Details! are made by the same author!


Features:
- New nameplates for friendly characters.
- Unlock configs to modify the new personal health bar/power bar in the middle of the screen.
- Allows to change the size of the resource indicators such as the runes for Death Knights.
- Indicates when a npc is an objetive of a quest.
- Highlight detector npcs inside Suramar city.
- Color change by aggro and by player role (tank or dps).
- Dynamic sizing allowing to have two sets of size, one for combat and other out of combat.
- Allows full modification of textures.
- Allows to modify the clickable area of the plate.
- Unlock separate config for each type of unit: Friendly Player, Enemy Player, Friendly Npc, Enemy Npc.
- Show your buffs and debuffs, allowing to black list some of them.

Important: by default the health bar of enemy nameplates has a height 2 pixel when out of combat, but do not be fooled by that, each nameplate has by default 45 pixels of clickable area (vertical) and both the health bar and the clickable area can be modified.

You can do this through the scripts feature - there is a built in scripts for named mobs just copy paste it for how many colors you want and just change the color in each to what you want and add the names of mobs you want that color for

Hi, it's me again monkaS

any chance to allow us adding purgeable or enrage effects to special buff tracking?
this is mainly for those who don't use automatic buff tracking so we have even more freedom to decide what we want to see.

enrage / purgeable magic effects are used a lot in bfa, that's why I ask.

A glow option would make it perfect.

basically if canStealOrPurge or debuffType == "" (for enrage) then anchor it to special aura's positon.
a seperate option would be best tbh or a way to exclude enrage.

populating your own purgeable buffs list is kinda risky since you might miss things so an option like this would make it a lot easier

Hello,

I love this addon, it is very handy un term of config thnks for the great job and letme ask you this, is there a way to modify the name plate color based on different type of mobs? I.e. in a mythic dugeon there are several trash pacts and the higher the key the bigger you have to pull that trash to completé the dungeon in the given time so, sometimes between those big pull is hard to target those special mobs but with a different name plate color would me much easier i hope i could explained myself and also eanted to ask if there are some text that i can read to Lear basic scripting for the addon. Done for next version, if the target is a player it'll colour the text.

Execute fixed on latest version on Curse.
Try /dump GetCVar ("nameplateLargerScale") to know what is the value there and than /run SetCVar ("nameplateLargerScale", VALUE)

I dont know why but some Bosses seem to increase the Scale of the Nameplate and i cant find an option to disable this. I did write a weakaura to show different target indicators, because i dont like the default ones and so there is this Problem:

On next version, you'll see in the script tab a script called "Units - Important". It'll change the nameplates color of several mins in dindgeons, you can duplicate and make your or just put the new of another color there, next version will be available soon

Requesting Help

Well now I'm hooked on this plate addon. I've tried all of the other big ones but this one is phenomenal. I just need one thing to make it perfect. Elvui has easy "Style Filtering". I'm trying to set that up in Plater. I'm wanting to change the nameplate color of specific mobs in Dungeons. Is there any easy way to do that, maybe I'm not seeing it. I wish to add a native support to show the target of the name all the time / only when casting / disabled.

Thanks for "beta" testing scripts, I appreciate. The latest version .100 should make the trigger more reliable, at least the OnHide. The interrupt I'll need to see a fix for it.
The Details suggestion could be added but would be a priority for now.
