I installed BossPanel and it shows up on my addon screen and I get no errors when logging in, but it does not show up. There is nothing at the top of bottom of my screen. Is there some secret to configuring it or getting it to show up?

Sounds like a great addon!

Thanks,
Jerix

Oh, and yes, I have ACE installed.

----------edit----
Nevermind.. I had an old version of ACE. I updated it and that fixed the problem!

BossPanel Top-Anchor

On my setup BossPanel appears to be 1 pixel below the top of the screen, its kind of annoying as its not shaded in by the bar for 1 pixel then shaded then not shaded. Is this a known issue?

In the addons window click the use out of date addons checkbox near the top of the list.

itemized Deduction

I am about to switch to Bosspanel, but i would hate to miss 'Titanpanel:itemized Deduction'. Could someone (Tekkub, i guess, as it is his in the first place) please take a look at that mod and make a bosspanel version.

Find it here: http://www.curse-gaming.com/mod.php?addid=614

this is an addon that is in beta people. i am amazed by Boss and his ability to kick out updates on this addon and i love him for doing it too because i just LOVE bosspanel! my suggestion is for people to sit back and enjoy what Boss is bringing to the table with this thing. it is truely a beautiful addon and plugin system and i am really looking forward to seeing other great things from Boss in the future!

yes i know my nose is a little brown but comeon this is a really well done addon in progress and seeing such frequent updates is a good sign that the author is excited about his work which is nice to see!

Well, from what I have seen, blizzard went from 1.9.4 to 1.10.0 in a rather long time. I agree with what your saying, that you must show people that your working on it, true. I guess the reason why it looked like you were blasting out these versions was because I didnt keep track for a few days, and then saw like 12 new versions lol, and whenever i looked at the new file list, bosspanel and its plugins were always on it.

Keep up the good work man! You have inspired me *bows down to his new god*

I have a suggestion for you. Stop releasing a million version every hour. Do what Blizzard, and other companies do. They work on a lot of stuff, fix lots of bugs and add new things then release a new version. There is no need for 0.9.1 - 0.9.62572 to be released within the same day. People that really use this mod probably get tired of downloading the new version nad updating it. Especially since theres only like 5-20 lines of code changed.

I haven't tried bosspanel out becuase I keep getting tons of errors. I am hoping to switch to it soon because there are a lot of mods I an use for it

I am new to BossPanel but I used to have the same issue with Titan. When BossPanel is locked to the top of the screen it automatically pushes the other frames down underneath it.

I currently have a mod (I dont know which one is actually doing it now) that puts the targets class just above the target frame, but unfortunately it is under the BossPanel and isnt getting pushed down.

Does anyone know of a mod that will put the targets class above the target frame but work with BossPanel and adjust accordingly when attached to the top of the screen.

Thanks.
The Panel can be attached to the top, the bottom, or detached. Right click on a panel and select "Attach to top", "Attach to bottom", or "Detach panel".
You can choose not to adjust the frames by right-clicking and select "Auto-adjust"

It sounds like whatever addon is doing that is poorly written. Instead of attaching relatively to the target frame (which would make sense), it is absolutely positioned.

The solutions that I see:
1. Attach the panel to the bottom of the screen.
2. Keep the panel attached to the top, but have it auto-hide, thus showing the display, but hiding the panel when your mouse is not over it.
3. Get Visor or another frame-manipulator addon and move the display manually.
4. Email the author of the display.

Err? Duh? If you don't grab every update you will get more than one change when you do grab an update, so what's the problem?

Wow! What caused it to almost triple in size? And by bigger updates, i dont mean the kb size. I am talking about more than 1 or a few changes.
