EBB provides groups of statusbar style indicators to show (de)buffs currently affecting your char or some other units (currently focus, pet and target). For the player, it can also show indicators for temporary enchants place on it's weapons.

Due to changes Blizzard made with WoW 4.x it's no longer possible to cancel buffs without the use of secure frames. Currently EBB limits canceling of buffs to out-of-fight since using SecureAuraHeader would have required a major code restructuring. This will be coming in a later version.

Version 2.x is a total recode based on the Ace2 framework which became necessary in order to support some of the longtime wanted and suggested features.
It's now possible to show different groups of bars which can be configured in many ways. Each group can be assigned an individual look and filter settings.
EBB can be configured via a dropdown menu which is accessible via chat (/ebb config), FuBar plugin or (for the group settings) by right clicking the groups anchor.
After setting up a group, its anchor can be hidden by alt-left clicking a bar or the anchor itself in order to lock the group in place.

In order to get additional bar textures and fonts for EBB simply install SharedMedia which is available for download under http://mods.curse.com/addons/wow/sharedmedia

For whatever reason whenever a poison or lure runs out it extends the bar across the screen for about 3-5 seconds then it goes away. Why does this happen?

ElkBuffBars never had any additional bar textures besides Blizzard's default one.
The other textures you could use are accessed via a libary (LibSharedMedia) which I updated to a newer version. SharedMedia injects a whole bunch of additional textures into that library so make sure you have it installed and updated to the latest version, too, if you used textures it provided.

Just did that, doesn't work. I downloaded Lib 2.0 and 3.0, which was something I never had before now.. and never needed.

Edit: On top of that, there are some setting missing from the Config Menu, Buffs, to Debuffs, to Tracking.. They are all blank

LibSharedMedia-3.0 is embedded into EBB on SVN, so you only need it as seperate download if you run disembedded.
What I was talking about is SharedMedia -> http://files.wowace.com/SharedMedia/SharedMedia.zip

Downloaded that, but your missing some fonts that I had used before, DestructoBeamBB and DesignerBlock

Edit: Is there a way for me to add these myself into your SharedMedia? I know NOTHING about coding LUA or any of that.. and the information in your MyMedia file confuses me.

Please make compatible with Dock

Please name the frames so Dock can save their location. Right now I have to put them back in the dock every time I logon.

Thanks.

I have been using LibSharedMedia for months now but since patch 2.4 i can't choose new textures for the buff bars except the "blizzard" one. Other addons like pitbull still have the LibSharedMedia textures available.

Any ideas?

LibSharedMedia-3.0 doesn't fech the textures registered to older versions of the library by design.
You most likely run an outdated version of SharedMedia, use the one linked in the addon's description.

As I have said before for whatever reason when my poison or WF runs out on my weapon the bar that has the buff extends off my screen and this is very annoying.
