WIM (WoW Instant Messenger)   

For me upadating to latest WIM is huge FPS drop 200 -> 20. Yes, a 180 fps percent drop :/

But it seems it just blocks it on ~20 fp, because changing settings does not change anything.

WIM is working fine, until I click on someone to send them a message if they're crossrealm.

If I just click away the error msg, it works fine, and it doesn't always happen.
Only the first time after logging in.

With the shattering, WIM stopped working for me. People would be chatting in guild, for example, and the WIM guild window wouldn't pop up, but it wsa still suppressing it from my Prat window.

I had to uninstall the addon and have been hoping for an update!

Seems I can only send whispers by clicking names in from the chat frame or from my friends list. If I attempt to send a whisper from /who it just doesn't work.

I'm not getting any errors though, so it might just be a general feature they changed in WoW itself and not the addon. I'm not sure. Just wanted to mention it.

Same issue. Really want custome fonts for people's name in the title bar like it's been for every version prior to this.


ALSO it seems the WIM2WIM functions dont work (ie. coordinates)

New Version:

Updated default skin to use same font as friends list. Was issue with international names.



Sucks hard....Now the the font of the name of the person im chatting with is different then the other fonts.

Name = vixar

Class, Guild and Text = Arial Narrow...

Want to change the name font to Arial Narrow, anybody an idea how this works?

I have just one question.

Without WIM, whenever I hit Enter immediately after sending a whisper, Enter will bring up whisper again, making it easy to whisper that person again.

With WIM, if I hit Enter immediately after sending a whisper, it will bring back the last used non-whisper chat before that whisper (such as party chat). This can make for some embarrassing moments.

Is there a way I can set WIM to follow the default behavior of the chat window and continue with whisper when I hit Enter, if whisper was the last type of chat I used?

I just downloaded the latest version from wimaddon.com updated today and for nUI users at least you get the following repeating errors caught by bugsack:

Another thing that was noticed by a friend of mine was that he was now seeing a 16 digit hex number instead of my name in the name bar.

A sign of a blizz change that is yet to be incorporated ?

I haven't installed wim yet myself to give any more details but will do so the moment I am able to .

It's gay as hell that you have to register on the WIM addon site just to report a faking bug, so I'm doing it here. I REFUSE to register for that. Makes no sense whatsover. Oh how irritating. K, so here's the bug I'm getting. I tried looking at the line of code, but being that I'm not familiar with Lua specifically, I couldn't identify the problem in the 30 seconds I looked at it :P
