Due to lack of time, I left the game some months ago.
Anyone who wants to take over the mod, feel free to.
Or pick apart the code and write your own, better one

Rewritten for WoW 2.0

One-key mounting solution, useful whether you have just one mount or several.
Supports all mounts currently in game, sensibly chooses/randomizes between what you have.
Bind a key and hit it to mount/unmount or shapeshift/deshift, or use '/click GoGoButton' in a macro.

Spell support

Supports paladin & warlock summonable mounts.
Shaman ghost wolf & druid travel forms - in combat as well.
Use '/gogo spell' to toggle whether to include spells in randomization or not.

Autodismount support

Dismounts you automagically when clickking on herbs/ores or using offensive spells/abilities.
Use '/gogo auto' to toggle this on/off.

Preferred mounts support

You can assign one or more preferred mounts for each zone.
Use '/gogo ItemLink' or '/gogo SpellName' to add pref.
Use '/gogo clear' to clear prefs for current zone.
Warning: GoGo will use your preferred mounts even if you have faster ones.

Localizations

English, French, German - feel free to send me more.

Changes:

2.0.16 - added second button for land mounts only, fixed mounting in Twisting Nether, reset settings (new format).
2.0.17 - bugfix.

Not atm. The /click and button:Click() are bugged on secure buttons, I'll write the macro mounting in after 2.0.2 comes out.

There might be a roundabout way to do it, but even the hijacking was too much fiddliness to incur on my users so I prefer to just wait a bit

Hmm, first time I heard of that one. I'll try to find time to test it later tonight.

edit: sorry, can't get the bug. Did manual /afks & timeout afks a few times on my test druid, GoGo still worked afterwards. Does it fail to work both in water & on land? What other addons are you using?

Here's a couple of scripts you can run to debug when the bug shows up:

/script GoGo_Msg(GoGoButton:GetAttribute("macrotext")) - shows you last macro GoGo wrote.

/script GoGo_Msg(table.concat({GetBindingKey("GOGOBINDING")}, ", ")) - shows you GoGo's keybindings.

/script GoGo_CheckBindings() - reassigns the buttons in keybindings menu to button. _Might_ be a hotfix to your problem if it turns out to be about keybinding assignment.

... looks like I need a '/gogo debug' command.

Currently when used on beta, I haven't been able to get hawkstrider to come up. Not sure if they aren't in your code or if I've just been unlucky.

I always back up my add ons before rewriting them with updates, i went back to Version 2.0.2 which was the last backed up one i had and the summoned mounts work just fine. not sure what you did but seem you have broken something with the summoned mounts, all my other mounts worked fine, i have a hunter, priest, and druid and thier mounts work jsut fine just not my lock and pally.

Current TBC mount support is patchy and theoretical - I don't have beta account myself. I was certain that I'd added all hawks, tho, was apparently wrong there.

You can do '/id [mount]' ingame and check for the result in GoGoMount.lua if you really, really want to know if yours is supported. If not, please let me know

edit: Stupid me - you could just bank your other mounts and see if hawk comes up then.
