Hi there. This is my Diablo themed interface for World of Warcraft, called Roth UI. Enjoy.
Since more and more leaked downloads of my interface appear on the internet, please remember: There is only one official download of the Roth UI. And that is this one, on wowinterface.com. All other downloads available are leaked and are not officially supported by me.
INSTALLATION GUIDE
Only this one is ZORKIFIED!

Same goes for the chat. If it doesn't fit just right-click the chat-tab. Unlock the chat and move it around until you feel comfortable.
ORB CONFIGWhen patch 5.2 hit the live servers a new version of oUF_Diablo was applied. Large parts of oUF_Diablo got rewritten, that includes large parts of the config.lua containing the orb animation settings. Most of those settings can then be changed via ingame config. The config can be accessed via
CLASS BAR PREVIEW
/diablo config

ORB ANIMATION SYSTEM

Maybe you are just a fan of the orbs and don't want all the rest. Go check out rBottomBarStyler. It provides various Diablo themed background panels.

That is called alpha layer. It defines in greyscale which areas will be transparent and which will be not. Google for that.

bar3.tga's black zone acts as being trasnparent when applied in game.
I tried to remake this file by making it larger, 1024x256. By adding 2 black zones in the left part and in the right part. The thing is after saving and converting to tga, the black zone acctualy appears as black in game. Opening the original ba3.tga with photoshop does not reveal any sort of trasnparent zone. How did you made this black part of the original ba3.tga to act as trasnparent in game ? ![]() |

I LOVE this mod but I was wondering, since I didn't see anything to help me with this, is there a way to remove the ping/fps and I assume broadband amount under the minimap? The constantly churning numbers are distracting and the info isn't really important to me at all.

Hmm, it's been a while since I've checked up on this - just downloaded the latest version of the pack (I think I was using the Cata Beta version until now) and it looks absolutely fantastic. The new artwork is really nice (particularly castbars - the previous ones, IMO, were fairly poor :P), and the addition of a few ingame commands is making things so much easier to work with

The weapon enchant issue will be fixed in the next RothUI version.
But... the overlapping. Did you clear(Backup!) your Interface-folder before you installed RothUI? Looks like you have an old installation still there. Do you still have a oUF_D3Orbs folder?

Hi everyone.
I have a little issue with this awesome ui. ![]() As you can see on the screenshot below, i have always only one weapon enchant frame. I would really like to have two of them, especially as rogue. second, it seems like somethin overlays the writings beneath the minimap. I have tried to deactivate other addons i'm using, but it remains unreadable. ![]() Thanks for any help. ![]() |

Correct. Textures sizes are graphic wise a divisor of 8. Thus: 16,32,64,128,256,512,1024 and 2048px for the TGA file in photoshop.
If you want the texture in wow to resize to whatever you want first make sure your graphic is filled completly. (No transparent stuff on the edges etc.) So example you have a texture that is 512x128px and completly red. Now you have scale 1 in interface and scale 1 for your frame the texture gets applied on. So if you apply your texture you can either use "SetAllPoints", this will make the texture extend the size (width,height) of the frame or you just do: Code:
SetPoint("CENTER",0,0) SetSize(512,256) Now if you want that to become 500px just do this: Code:
SetPoint("CENTER",0,0) local w = 500 SetSize(w,w/2) Tipp: If you just need a square texture in plain color you need no file. Using Code:
t:SetTexture(1,0,0,0.8) If you want to learn this don't hack an already made UI. Create yourself a small testaddon and play around. (See my SetBackDrop addon for example)

I have managed to get an idea how to set exact coordonates for textures by trial and error.
What i cannot still figure out is how to make the texture in wow have the exact amount of pixels it has itself. Could you tell me the exact steps that need to be taken to do this ? Because even though interface scale is set to on, and scale to 1, in wow advanced video settings, and even though, bottomline = { show = true, pos = { a1 = "BOTTOM", a2 = "BOTTOM", af = "UIParent", x = 700, y = 700 }, scale = 1, the scale is set to 1, the bottom bar does not appear to have 512 pixels in game. I made a screenshot and "measured" the bar in paint. Note that i replaced the bar with a pink texture 512 pixels long for easy measurments. It does not add up. There must be something else i missed.

q1) your power orb is a bar. (it may not look like one, but it is)
trying all diablo commands would have told you that. q9) if you set the interface ui-scale to 1 and use no scaling in your addon and have a texture that has a width of 512px that texture will use 512px on your screen. If you decrese the scale the 512px will shrink. q4) macaroon defines buttons on each own
