Pet Bar Problems

I'm having problems with my pet bar. I was able to resize it, but no matter where i drag the pet bar in the bar configuration mode, it stays in the same place. It also disappears when my pet is not in combat, and I can't seem to find a setting that would change that. Over all though, this is my favorite bar addon.
