after playing for some time, i start getting fps spikes every time i loot something (very annoying, though it goes away after a reload ui)
this problem doesn't seem to occur with xloot disabled :(

an option to show the cooldown spiral on abilities with no cooldown (arcane shot, power word: shield, etc) would be really helpful

also, the psychic horror (disarm part) doesn't show up ever, i tried adding it to the LUA but couldn't get it to work

okay, figured out the problem.
the frame height setting (naturally) increases the frame height, and increases the number of lines used by texts
i was using it to increase the y offset of the health bar, but i now see that the y offset setting is there for a reason!

the problem with blacked out addon buttons is still persisting. i'll try to figure out which specific addon is causing it later tonight, but right now it appears to be completely random
(looks normal half the time i log in or reload ui, and blacked out the other half with seemingly no pattern)

having another issue with addon-based buttons being blacked out

that middle icon should be bugsack, but for some reason it (and any other addon buttons) get blacked out --- this happens after a reloadui, after i enable grid (of all things)

i really liked the old warrior shout warning functionality, and i'm wondering if there's a way to replicate it in the current system
here's a summary:
group a: battle shout = strength of earth = horn of winter
group b: commanding shout = power word: fortitude = blood pact

nameplates are definitely behaving a bit erratically, might be a blizzard issue though
"ghost" nameplates (far off where the mob is), no nameplates at all, longer bars than usual, etc.
only seems to happen in combat

one final question (hopefully), since i'm in the process of beautifying my UI
is there a way to disable the collecting of friendly class data / make it that all friendly nameplates are blue (players) or green (npcs)?

and on a completely unrelated note, is there a way to change aloft nameplate strata (so that it overwrites certain addons like quartz, instead of disappearing under them)
i checked quartz but there doesn't appear to be an option there :(

hey- i've been using aloft for quite a while now, but i got to talking with a friend and he said that he switched to tidy nameplates because he noticed a significant drop in FPS when using aloft (as demonstrated by the fact that aloft uses almost 2.5mbs of memory to tidyplates' 250kb)
