Why would you need it at that point ?
If it is so that you know which character you need to play next then any addon that stores a copy of the ilevel of each character when you play them should be a more automated way of what you are doing manually
Try searching for ilvl or ilevel and see what pops up and looks interesting .. or stay with the old notepad route
