Buff area modification

A: Buff/Debuff ignore

Sometimes the amount of buffs or debuffs can get HUGE... So can there be some way to have some of them be hidden? Like Sunder Armor is useless for a caster, and Curse of The Elements is kinda useless for Melee.

B: PRIORITY buffs/debuffs

Some classes will want certain buffs to stand out, so would it be possible to get a special frame for say, 2-3 buffs (which of course would be selectable)

A druid would want Eclipse and Clearcasting on that, while a might want Backdraft, or Decimation...

These buffs are critical to watch out for, and adding a special area to watch during a battle will make this easier (Currently I use porocodile to help there)

I believe this sort of stuff is being worked into version 6 to make the aura lists more flexible.

Maybe some of the new features in 3.3 could be used, or something similar. (Long duration buffs in one "box" etc etc).

Yes this is really needed. For instance as an unholy DK I would really like to see my desolation buff next to the diseases debuffs and not have to sort through the list on the left to find if its still up. I would suggest any spec specific buff/debuff with less than 1 minute duration should be included in this debuff area.

Different request, but same category, so I figured I would post it here.

I would like the option of, instead of the current list of buffs on the left, to have just an icon area, like the default Blizzard interface. It could be in the same spot , maybe 5-10 icons across, then fill upwards. The same could be done with your target's buffs on the right side.

It's not that I don't like the current list, I just find it easier to see what's there if I'm looking at a group of icons instead of a list of words. I realize that the icons are present with the words also, but they're currently too small to see quickly in a combat situation.

I've been using nUI for a few months now and I REALLY enjoy it. I find that it does just about everything extremely well. Seeing my buffs and my target's buffs quickly and clearly is the only issue I've had while playing with it.

To clarify, I would love the option to have bigger buff icons instead of written buff names. If this is already a feature that I don't know about, let me know how to set it up. Thanks!

That would be the optional addon nUI_Auras or something similar. Look in the plug in areas and you should see it.

That would be the nUI_AuraButtons plugin you can find in the "nUI Unit Panel Layouts" section at http://files.nUIaddon.com
