Adding pet happiness alert to MSBT

Is there a way to add a trigger to alert me when my pet is not "happy?" I've looked around in the various triggers and I didn't see one that I could create.

I think msbt triggers on buffs and debuffs which I don't believe happiness is, even for hunter pets.

Yep, looked at wowwiki and when the pet event "UNIT_HAPPINESS" is triggered all blizzard does is display a different texture and let you know what its new attack bonus percentage is.

How hard would it be to add a trigger for PET_HAPPINESS? I'm pretty good at "coding by example" by I'm totally lost when it comes to LUA. Looking at the code in Cork for pet happiness alerts and comparing it to existing triggers in MSBT has me no closer to figuring it out. If I was pointed to the right lines of code to mimic, I could figure out a solution.

Just go get Feed-O-Matic it will solve all your problems.

Yeah I'm using that currently... was trying to trim down the addons. Was using another addon to alert me when my mana was full and I still had viper up, but I just made an alert in MSBT and cut out an addon.

Well had a look at the source code for msbt and I think your best bet is to post a request to add Pet Happiness Event settings to the code as at present it can't be added through the addon but is all hard coded.
