Weird Display!

I was working on some images; grant it I'm not an expert, I just fiddle faddle.

I noticed something odd; what I did in Photoshop is significantly more vibrant when applied to my desktop as a wallpaper. I'm using a Dell U3011 monitor.

Can't figure out if there's something in Windows 7 or my Nvidia video card that's amplifying the view.

If I look at it in Photoshop its right or Windows Preview. I open it in a browser or see it on the desktop as a wallpaper it's WAY off.

Running any color calibration software? Using color profiles? Any 3rd party software running that "enhances" your display?

No calibration or profiles; just default that windows uses for the monitor.

My games look fine, it's odd and I can't exactly capture it to show you LOL.

Photos or screenshots show the same thing.

Maybe my eyes are playing tricks? LOL
