Lightbulb nUI should reduce active screen area

Background:
It took me some time to figure out, but nUI does not alter the active screen area. In my setup (1280x800 screen), the top 23 lines and the bottom 155 lines of the screen are hidden behind nUI and fubar (font resolution 10). However, there is still a lot of interactive things happening behind the hidden parts.

Temporary solution:
I have used CT_ViewPort to reduce the active screen area.

Suggestion:
This should be handled internally in nUI.

Most of the bottom part of the screen covered with the nUI Dashboard is unusable as it only has a black portion there as I believe Scott said that the viewport was changed to move this up. If you look at the dashboard the section below the 2 lower ( not lowest ) buttons is the top of the cut off area. Nothing should be appearing there whatsoever as far as I am aware.

I installed CT_viewport and as soon as I excluded the bottom part, the screen aspect changed, so it looks like whatever Scott did was something else.

I will take a few more looks with and without viewport

Hmm, maybe something to do with the scaling he does to fit different resolutions. Hopefully Scott will see this at some point and can shed some light on this.

I'm going to have to look into it when I get home from work this evening... time permitting.

Im a bit confused nUI definitely resizes your viewing area I'm playing on a 23.6" monitor at 1920x1080 and if it didn't I'd lose a hell of a lot of screen behind my dashboard. Why is it that you are assuming it doesn't?
