NOTE 3: I have added an alt-click menu to each dock icon that allows you to re-order its position in it's current dock.
NOTE 4: All movement changes are now being saved and retained per character.

One thing i do suggest is to get the tooltip skinned up like the rest of the UI. If you could do so. I think it would look awesome if you changed it up and made it more of a comic look!

That is why I do what I do! I want you guys to have as much fun with my work as I do making it for you!
Despite the bugs and catastrophes, I always have a blast coding this stuff. Almost more than I do playing the game itself LOL ......almost.

Thank you for the suggestions. Most of these things you have mentioned are already under development with the exception of the healer frames. My main is a priest so a healing layout would benefit me just as much as all other healers out there. The reason I am making this step close to last is due to the fact that healing features and considerations take much more care and attention to detail than tank or dps. I plan to make the healing layout a thing of great beauty, mostly because at the end of the day... that is the one part of SVUI that is a gift to myself

Thank you for all the hard work you do man. I understand every bit of having to do what you have to do. Your UI is far different than any UI ever used and I am sure you will get the issues resolved sooner or later. I will continue to use this no matter the issues that arise. Keep up the good work you deserve it man.

Add in a grid when you move anchors! Just a suggestion

First of all I want to thank you for your great UI.

I have been a long time ElvUI-user but I like the style of your UI more.

Unfortunately there a few thing (despite some bugs which were already mentioned) I miss/dislike about your UI which kept me from fully replacing ElvUI.

For this reason, I would like to make some suggestions:

First: The default party/raidframes were not made for players who play as a healer. It would be awesome to have a dedicated healer-layout with overall improved visibility for hots/shield/heling effects and improved visibility for party-/raidmembers in healing range and improved visibility for missing health.

Second: Abbreviations for "ctrl", "alt" and "shift" on the actionbars.

Third: An option to show current rage/energy/mana as a number below the playerframe similar to how health numbers are shown.

You do not have to include anything which I have suggested as it is your interface, but I still think some of these suggestions are worth considering.

Decided to go back to an older version and experiment with layout a bit. Did it on my hunter so that pet bar ect will be showing. Also have cast bar showing as well(Target castbar is directly below player cb)


The two smaller action bars bars below the main are mouseover. Still need a few tweaks but what do you think? I may make the pet bar mouse over as well. Havent decided.

Aaaaand the combat freeze/lock uo hits me ugh lol

Not leaving per say. As I said just waiting till it's "fixed" Just had to get something in place in the meantime to cover raiding ect. And nothing I use makes me happy You have spoiled me lol

Sorry about that... I meant to but got sidelined by real world shenanigans.

I owe an explanation for these recent shortcomings...

Since 4.0 I have been working really hard to accomplish something that I wasn't sure how best to explain. I have been slowly removing all Ace3 libraries and their dependencies from SVUI. For those of you familiar with these, understand that there is nothing wrong with the Ace family of libs, I just don't want SVUI to depend on so many things especially with WOD around the corner. I also see a lot of waste in these libraries which makes the process of making a relatively heavy UI slim and fast quite difficult. When I began on 3.0 the memory footprint was 8mb to 10mb (simply while resting, much higher in a raid) and the loading time was not desirable, this was BEFORE I started adding all of the bells and whistles that give SVUI it's trademark feel which made these figures much more daunting. As of this last update the footprint starts at 6mb (~8mb in a raid) and the loading time is quite fast. A lot of these improvements came when I started removing the libraries and giving the SVUI core its own set of tools to accomplish the same features.

Profiles... oh lord profiles... these are the most poorly implemented features in nearly all UI packages out there. The primary issue is that users want to have all of their characters' profile settings available at all times. On one hand this makes sense because it IS easier to be able to just copy from any other character on the fly, but the issue is that this requires that all savedvariables from all characters (per account) be saved in the global savedvariables file. This is the single biggest waste of memory and resources that I have encountered so far. Effective now (4.02) I am redesigning how this is done.

My ultimate goal is to have SVUI be completely self-sustained and modifiable within its own constructs. This will also make the transition to WOD much faster and easier.
