Quse UI  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: v4.3d
by: Qupe [More]

Quse Stream

This UI is meant to be as minimal, low memory and CPU usage as possible while maintaining a full compliment of features.
Supports all resolutions, aspect ratios and almost all languages/client localizations.

Having some knowledge of .lua - or the willingness to mess around with it - is recommended, most addons are configured in .lua.

sFilter is back!
I have included it with some basic spells for some classes but is mostly barebone.
Please open the SETTINGS.LUA file to add your own spells, all classes have template locations that fit the UI.
HOW TO:
* See Change Log for a full list of changes (please read it!) *
Fresh installations are always recommended!

Installation is a breeze; no WTF folders to rename, no hoops to jump through, no bears to wrastle.

- Back-up your Interface and Fonts folder (if you have a Fonts folder. If you don't have one, don't worry).
- Copy the contents of the QuseUI zip file into your World of Warcraft folder and launch your game client.
- Ensure out of date addons are enabled.
- Once in game, type "/install" and accept.
- Bananas!

Features
*Low memory and CPU *
*Easy Installation*
*Complete "out-of-the-box" support for all classes/specs*
*Healer and DPS raid frame layouts*
(see screenshots)

Raid Frame Indicators

*Note*
Earth Shield, PoM, and Lifebloom
indicators change color based on stack count.

FOR FONT REPLACEMENT:
Font = Pixel Font, 8pt
Font2 = Tooltip Font
FCT = Floating Combat Text

To replace fonts in-game:
- Place your desired font into the "Interface\addons\sharedmedia\fonts" folder and rename to the font you'd like to change.

To replace fonts that appear on the loading screen, chat window, etc...
- Copy your desired font into the "Fonts" folder in your Warcraft folder and rename to the appropriate names present in that folder (skurri, ARIALN__, etc...)

FOR BOSS MOD STYLING:
- Download the file located HERE
Follow the instructions on the download page.

Recommended:
- oUF_MovableFrames, by Haste. If lua editing isn't for you and default frame locations aren't your cup of tea, oUF_MovableFrames will allow you to drag and drop locations.
- Clean Icons - Thin, by Suicidalkatt
Vital if you'd like to keep the sleek square outline look for non-skinned icons. Not included in this download due to its size; some people may or may not care to include it.

TO DO:

- Set up sFilter for new abilities and adjust location (currently not included in package).
- Finish adjusting raid indicator texts and boss debuffs.
------------

01/15 - Release.3
- Grid2 should be fixxxxxxxxxxxedddddd!

LOTS of big changes, FRESH INSTALL is recommended.
- Stuf replaced with a modified oUF_NIN (loveitloveitloveit).
- Added oUF_Boring_totembar and oUF_SpellRange.
- NibEclipse removed, oUF_NIN covers this.
- NibRunes removed, replaced with a modified guRunes - looks REALLY slick, fantastic run animation!
- TipTac replaced with FreebTip
- Cascade should now parent to the minimap (if it doesn't try removing the SavedVariables for this AddOn).

- Entire UI moved inward by 4 pixels.
- Shapeshift bar moved above player frame.
- TinyDPS border fixed, now 1px.

01/09 -Release.1
- Removed icon .blp's which were in the Interface folder to reduce file download size. I HIGHLY recommend: Clean Icons - Thin, by Suicidalkatt

Figured, well, fixing everything without UIScale and uploading a fixed version sometime today/tonight (providing my internet doesn't get dunked on).

Also, do you see enemy cast bars on the plates yet? I hopped into pvp 10 minutes ago to make sure they weren't broken and I saw them.

or: login, open the saved variable, delete everything in it, save, make it write protected, change settings in lua, reload

once the right position is reached, remove write protection, reload your interface one last time, and the position is saved in the saved variables too

If you install a new version of Grid2 you're going to break it's ability to be installed with the installer among a couple other edits I made to the addon (nothing related to the border at all). I'm not sure why this border issue has cropped up all of a sudden but I'm trying to figure it out.

The enemy castbar is shown on the nameplates by default, it's the same addon as every release so I'm not sure why you don't see any (assuming you meant the nameplates).

Oh, alDamageMeter is movable in game now. It's not moving with lua editing because it makes a savedvariable entry. You can 1) move it in game, 2) edit the savedvariable file (make sure you're out of game) or 3) change the lua, delete the savedvariable entry (make sure you're out of the game), and log back in. You'll be able to edit the lua and see the changes in game with method 3 but you'll need to make sure you don't log out (it will save a savedvariable file and you'll have to repeat the first part of step 3 again).

Actually, the uneven border issue is happening on a lot of different things.

Bah, I love the new layout and I don't wanna have to go back to the old one.

Anything I can do?

Edit:
alDamageMeter also refuses to move now, even with editing the lua.

Thanks! Fixed that issue - there are a couple more though.

My hotbars don't seem to be equally spaced. The spacing between them
seems to be a little different. Any fix for that?

Also, Grid2 is doing the border thing. I am going to try throwing in the last updates grid and see how that goes. If you know of any fixes I'd love to know, however!

Thanks again.

Sorry it's so hard to see! I know it shouldn't be a huge deal, but I can't help noticing it.
Might be because you're running a different resolution (I ran across that problem as well); I fixed it by moving the frame to the right or left half a pixel.

If you're not comfortable with opening the config.lua file in the oUF_NIN folder, you can download http://www.wowinterface.com/download...bleFrames.html and move it by hand/use the text fields the addon gives you.

I'd recommend moving it 0.5 pixels to the right or left.

I'm not sure why this happens though, assuming it has something to do with the way the pixel border appears on the screen - you can also see it happen with the nameplates depending on where they move on the screen, sometimes the border on one side vanishes until it moves to a different spot/you move your camera.

Weird, I was under the assumption you wouldn't get any SavedVariables for an addon unless it was already installed (ie - /install before installing BigWigs).

Did you say that backwards or did it actually work that way (ie - installing bigwigs before /install)?

Shouldn't have to switch the profile, after /install the profile is set to the proper one.

Did a fresh install with new interface folders, WTF - everything and it installs properly. I'm not sure why yours isn't working.

When you /install and just go into the bigwigs config menu what do you see?
Also, are you running any other addons or does your tooltip show the ilvl by default? If you're running other addons give it a shot with only what's included in the UI (not sure if something could/is interfering).

From a completely fresh install this is what I see:
