EBB provides groups of statusbar style indicators to show (de)buffs currently affecting your char or some other units (currently focus, pet and target). For the player, it can also show indicators for temporary enchants place on it's weapons.

Due to changes Blizzard made with WoW 4.x it's no longer possible to cancel buffs without the use of secure frames. Currently EBB limits canceling of buffs to out-of-fight since using SecureAuraHeader would have required a major code restructuring. This will be coming in a later version.

Version 2.x is a total recode based on the Ace2 framework which became necessary in order to support some of the longtime wanted and suggested features.
It's now possible to show different groups of bars which can be configured in many ways. Each group can be assigned an individual look and filter settings.
EBB can be configured via a dropdown menu which is accessible via chat (/ebb config), FuBar plugin or (for the group settings) by right clicking the groups anchor.
After setting up a group, its anchor can be hidden by alt-left clicking a bar or the anchor itself in order to lock the group in place.

In order to get additional bar textures and fonts for EBB simply install SharedMedia which is available for download under http://mods.curse.com/addons/wow/sharedmedia

I would love to see different buff styles added in, like an option for just plain old buff icons.

When I use my Paladin's Holy Shield ability, the bar length relative to the duration seems to think that it's a 30 second buff (I.E. when it is initially cast it only takes up 1/3 of the bar).

Is there a setting or file somewhere I can edit to correct this? I have not noticed it with any other buffs yet.

Is it possible to make this mod's settings and position character specific?

not yet via EBB but it's on my list. It's a bit tricky by the way Blizzard has coded it but should be doable. But first I'll have to get a working notebook to play/code WoW...

Is there any way to get the "Tracking" bubble off the minimap when it shows up in your buffs? Redundancy always annoys me, so having the bubble saying "Track Humanoids" or "Find Herbalism" AND the notation on your mod is annoying. I'd much rather just have your buff notification. Didn't see a way to turn them off via EBB's options.

Suggestion

I would like to make a suggestion...

I like the fact that you can now have different anchors for all the groups, and that they "snap" to each other and auto expand and such... What I would like is an added "Horizontal Offset" feature for the sub groups.

Just one value that would apply to all, to offset all the groups under the main one to the right by a certain amount so they are like this:
Code:
BUFFS
========
========
====
=========
  DEBUFFS
  ========
  ========
  ====
  =========
    CURSES
    ======
    ========
    =====
Would that be possible?

simplest solution would be to keep the default settings meaning that the DEBUFF group is anchored right under the BUFF group. it will the automaticaly move down as the BUFF group grows.

Hi elkano, first of all I love this mods and thanks for keeping it updated. However on the latest version with different groupings of bars, I can't seem to figure out how to get just one set of bars with both buffs and debuffs on them, as I do not want two seperate sets of bars due to the spacing issues. For instance, my normal buffs (and size of buff bars) varies greatly depending on whether I'm soloing or raiding of course. With that in mind, I don't want to have to move my debuff group anchor farther down every time I join raid in order to make room for all the extra buffs that I wouldn't normally have in a solo type setting. I'm looking for someway to make it just like the old version, all debuffs and buffs etc on one anchor point.

I can't tell what you did either but did you try deleting its saved variables to get it back?
