Bongos3 is now released. I encourage everyone to try it.

Bug reports: Please give me the following information
  • The version of Bongos you are using (/bongos version)
  • The version of the game that you are running (ex, 2.3)
  • What addons you are running

Bongos is an action bar replacement designed to be both low memory, and easy to setup. It is not as feature rich as other bar mods, but should include the features most commonly used.

Key Binding problems

I have used Bongos2 for a long time and never had any problems with the key bindings till recently.

I use key binds for secondary actions bars with multiple modifier keys:
ctrl+shift+1 though ctrl+shift+=

I recently started having a problem with the key combination of ctrl+shift+0
Bongos only seems to recognize the ctrl+shift part of the key bind. When you find the key this is what is shows on the screen and the key then does not correctly work.

I have tried this in Bongos3 as well and it does not work.

For Bongos 2 I am running version 1.10.1. As I said I used this key bind without error for a long time. I'm not really sure when it stopped working but I believe it hasn't worked since game version 2.3

G11 and G15 support

I use a Logitech G11 keyboard which gives me an additional 18 function keys labelled G1 - G18, but in order to use them I have to make keybindings for obscure combinations that I don't currently use like CTRL-ALT-1, CTRL-ALT-A, etc. When I set this up on one of the action bars it shows as the keybound shortcut AC1, ACA, etc. rather than G1, G2 etc.

I was wondering if there would be a way in the near future to support G11 and G15 keyboards to show the G-functions rather than the keybinds or failing that if a player can set an alias for the bound key?

It may help if I explain the math then The value for faded opacity is a multiplier. The formula is bar faded opacity = bar's opacity * bar's faded opacity setting. So if you have a bar's opacity set to 0.75 and its opacity set to 1, then 0.75 * 1 = 0.75: the bar will be transparent.
I want everything to be back to 100% opacity. I don't want one bar at 75%, and another at 100%. I've tried raising the bar to 100% and using the command to set just the one bar to 100% - neither works.

Hey Tuller... did some more experimenting with buff and debuff highlighting in the latest version of Bongos 2. What I noticed is that the highlights consistently disappear when I use my hunter's misdirection. I know you mentioned having this problem in an earlier post too but weren't able to nail down a cause... hope this helps at least with this feature in your new Bongos 3 version.

First of all, great mod. Very minimal but still with plenty of functionality.

I recently changed the opacity of bongos to 75%, and then later on decided I wanted another bar to show up all the time. Now that bar is at 100% opacity, and the rest is at 75%, but the slider shows it at 100%, and as of yet, I haven't found a way to get the first bar back up to 100%. I've gone down to 0 and up to 100% on the slider, used the command to change it individually, but nothing. It seems to think it's at 100% opacity, but it's not.

I use WoW 2.3.3, 1.10.1 of bongos, and plenty of addons, but I don't think that's the problem. I can list them all if needed, but I'm too lazy right now. I know I could just delete the folder and reinstall, but I'd hate to reconfigure all those binds and whatnot again... If there's anyway to same me from doing that, I'd be greatly appreciative!
