Hey Nibs,

Would just like to echo that I'd love to help on RealUI as well. Was going through some of the LUA code and I noticed comments here and there about fixing/TODO certain things. Was wondering if maybe you'd like to get some help, I've been meaning to pick up LUA for work so working on this would be a great way to learn the basics while enjoying it

Ideally, having it uploaded in Github or any kind of versioning would be a great help for people wanting to pick stuff up or to help contribute code.

LMK if you want/need any help.

I could get a GitHub set up for anyone who's interested in making contributions. Will let you know when it's set up.

DXE Addition

I see that DXE was added here recently and only has support at this point for ToT. I really like how DXE operates compared to DBM, but it doesn't look like it is actively developed anymore.

Does anyone know what the future for DXE is? Are there regular developers and is there an expectation that it will support SoO at the very least?

I really hope some people are able to pick up maintaining RealUI going into 6.0, it is the cleanest most usable UI I've found or been able to make and I would really miss it going forward.

Don't have this happening to me. Any extra addons installed? If so, then another addon is trying to modify the Quest Log font. If not, I shall have to look into it.

Yep! I have a bunch of other addons installed, but I haven't a clue which one would affect quest text. My guildmate is having the same problem and shes playing a completely different class/spec.

Another thing I ran into, Kui nameplates seems to not be tracking Corruption.

Thanks again for the ongoing work on the addon!

edit: it also appears like some of the absorb combat text isn't following MSBT's rules for that sorta thing.

DXE is still regularly updated, but it seem to only be available from wowace.com now: http://www.wowace.com/addons/deus-vox-encounters/

Opening bags for the first time in the Timeless Isle shows all items surrounded by a blue border. Mousing on the items will remove the blue border.

Yeah, I still haven't found out what Blizzard changed to cause this.

Very minor though and doesn't affect gameplay. I just thought a new item activated it

It's caused by the "NewItemTexture" introduced in the ContainerFrameItemButtonTemplate with 5.4

Hi Nib,

I've just done a fresh install of version 8.0 r16 and it seems as the blizzard frames are not using custom skinned anymore. Like character screen, dungeon finder etc.

What seems to be wrong, ui error or human error (me)?

Edit: I've tried to downgrade aurora to the one in 8.0 r15, and that brings back the skinned blizzard frames. so you seem to have something fishy in your updated version

The error seems to be, in a combination of the aurora.lua and in the FrameXML folder files. Replacing these with files from 8.0 r15 seems to solve the problem, did run a diff in the files, but changes was to severe for me to scope right at this moment Could you have a look at it?
