Features

Built-in queue for creating multiple, different items
Queued items are saved when you log out and are restored on log in
Automatically buy reagents for queued recipes when visiting a vendor
If you can craft a reagent needed by a recipe, then clicking on that reagent will take you to its recipe (same features as Reverse Engineering)
If the item to be crafted requires a minimum level to use, that level can be displayed along with the recipe (disabled by default)
The shopping list of items needed for all queued recipes for all alts can be displayed at banks, auction houses, or from the command line
Items needed for crafting queued items can be automatically retrieved from your bank or guild bank (by using the shopping list)
User editable list of notes attached to reagents and crafted items
Queued counts added to (optional) notes display
Crafted counts can be adjusted with Right-click and Shift-right-click on the item icon in the detail frame
Recipes can be filtered by name, whether or not you could level when creating the item, and whether or not you have the mats available
Sorting of recipes (name, difficulty, level, and quality of crafted item)
Tracking inventory on alternate characters
Plugin support for (limited) modification of the Skillet frame by other addons
Custom grouping
User managed Ignored Materials List

FAQ

What are the numbers in the middle and how to hide them? - It's the number of craftable items using reagents in your bag, bank, alts. Right+Click on the bag icon to turn them off
How to search in the item name only? - Start your search phrase with exclamation mark: !ink
How to search in Auction House? - Alt+Click on shopping list
How to retrieve items from bank? - Turn on "Display shopping list at banks"
How to turn off Skillet temporarily? - Shift+Click your profession button/link. It also works for View All in your Guild Tab.
How to use Enchanting Vellum? - Right Click on Process/Create/Create All button. You create only 1 enchanted vellum, repeat to create more
How to paste a recipe in the chat? - double click on the recipe list

At Orgrimmar's forge also I often get the message "requires a forge" even though I'm really near it... but I'm not sure if it's my fault or Skillet's as I just started playing my first Horde character. Also a feature that could be awesome, similar to the "stop at 290" one, would be to stop when the recipe becomes green or grey (or preferably something in between, maybe when a skill point is gained only every two crafts in average.) I'd also like the ability to make the frame's background a bit more transparent! EDIT: for some reason, I didn't use the "Bugs" and "Features" links to post this... sorry :]. EDIT 2: I just tried again forging (with Skillet 1.0), and it stopped after 4 items, but after 2 skills points gained... Not sure if this could have any influence. I would like to echo some of the requests like fixing it to que items like ATSW did when you make something that requires something else you make. Having a setting that would allow you to craft until gray, etc (set a dropdown box with a threshhold stop when yellow, green or gray) would be sweet. Also a way to resize it would be sweet. This should fix the problem people are having with the queue stopping after 2 items. This release also include the same functionality as Reverse Engineering and support for ArmorCraft. Coming Up: Looks like the most requested features so far are (in no particular order): Automatically retrieve items from the bank needed to make queued items "Craft Until .." where Skillet will continue to make items until you run out of reagents or a certain skill level is met or until the receipe becomes grey/green. Persistant queues so you can see what materials you alts need to finish their queues. I'm going to be working on getting these in the next version or two, along with any bugs fixes that need to be done.

I was making 5 and skill level was 372. (My char is a gnome so this pattern takes me to 375 out of 390). Thought I'd leave a note directing your attention to it though, it's one of those little indispensable mods. I prefer it to ReverseEngineering as it has a wider profession scope.

I have not tried it yet, but it almost certainly won't work out of the box. Skillet is just too different from the original tradeskill window.

Thanks for the pointer. When you say "has a wider profession scope" do you mean that you can jump to different professions or just that more than engineering is supported. If it's the latter, then Skillet can already do that for any profession. For the former, more work would be required.

In either case, I'll grab a copy soon and see if I can make it work or integrate the functionality.
