Dark Soil

Description
Places pins on the World Map and Minimap for every known Dark Soil spawn location in Heartland (Valley of the Four Winds). Each pin is customisable and high precision coordinates and location hints appear in Tooltips.

How to Use
Instal: Like any other AddOn. Set up: Works 'as is' but is configurable.

Minimap Options: Left Click or Shift Left Click on a pin to change the pin texture. Each click cycles forwards or backwards through a list. Changes will also appear on the World Map. Applies to a single pin only. Excellent for fast marking of visited locations or locations where Dark Soil was found. New!

World Map Pin Options: Click on a pin. A Drop-down menu appears. You may select a texture for that pin or apply the texture to all pins. Changes will also appear on the Minimap. New!

World Map "Magnifying Glass" Options: Click the button in the top right of the World Map. Check boxes allow you to show/hide the Dark Soil and NPC locations. There is an option to remove/reset all individual pins settings. There is an option to jump to Valley of the Four Winds, as appropriate. Changes will also appear on the Minimap. New!

Command Line: Enter '/ds', '/dark', '/soil', '/darksoil' in chat. Use '/ds s 30', '/ds s 40' (for example) to change the pin sizes.

Chat Links: Activate the edit box of any chat channel. Hold down the CTRL key. Move the mouse over a pin. Link, description and coordinate data will be pasted to your chat channel. Just hit ENTER to send!


Details
Players are able to collect Dark Soil to gain friendship reputation with several members of The Tillers faction.

Dark Soil mainly spawns in the Heartland area of the Valley of the Four Winds in Pandaria. Dark Soil has been known to spawn outside this sub-zone and indeed outside the zone but time-efficient farming of Dark Soil is very much confined to Heartland.

Over 150 locations, correct to two decimal places, have been included in this AddOn. The author has personally farmed and documented each one and many have been verified a second or more time.

My Loose Pebble AddOn is the logical partner to this AddOn for those pushing for Dog to appear alongside Breanni in the Pet Store of Legion Dalaran.

Bonus Features
Ten NPCs represent the The Tillers "friendships" you advance by donating the loot from the Dark Soil to these NPCs. Most of them have a fixed location in Heartland. On certain days a couple of the NPCs will visit the Halfhill market for a day and thus will be absent from Heartland. This AddOn marks the usual location of each NPC.

If You Like Dark Soil
Nobody can resist an adorable Raptor Hatchling pet or the magnificent Netherwing Drake and Long-Forgotten Hippogryph mounts. You'll of course need Dark Soil for The Tillers friendships and a Loose Pebble for your Dog! A familiar treat awaits if you complete Dalaran's Higher Learning. As you journey on this Long Strange Trip, map your way with X and Y coordinates and have some fun with Yarrr for pirate Tooltips.
