The standard western diet can do pretty nasty things to the body, especially those organs close to the digestive system (like the epidemic of appendicitis in our culture, though that's also due to our sitting toilets not being really healthy for the bowels ).

Pretty much this, I try to stay away from a lot of normal food that we eat and try to cook what I can that's healthy; Pasta, Fish, varieties of salads with steak/chicken and such. And of course Sushi! (nom nom)

Today for breakfast I had fried egg whites with melted sliced mozzarella slice of tomato and salt/pepper/basil on a toasted English muffin ~ Was really good.
Very low cholesterol and a good amount of calories, or take off the egg and add some pesto sauce and some turkey bacon for a nice small lunch :>

I need a wife who can cook, and play games. My last wife couldn't do either, hence I did all the cooking. Just once, in my life, I'd like to wake up to breakfast; and not the kind that shows up at my door.

lol, pretty much everything I eat these days as a course for dinner is a salad with chicken/steak or some fish. Taco salad nom nom.
