Cannot install Details! properly.

I have tried installing details multiple different ways, and none of which are working right. My healing done won't register, some pages of the options panel won't load, etc. I put the zip file into my addons folder, unzip it, and unlike every other addon, the unzipped folder keeps the same name as the zipped file. And within the unzipped folder is the Details folder, along with a ton of other "Details_...." files. I have no idea why it won't work, and why it just won't unzip properly. Please help me, I'm getting so frustrated :/
