They should not be in the Blizzard_AuctionUI, they shoudl be placed in C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns

dont think he meant he put them in that folder, he was giving an example of an addon in that folder (ie blizz's own)

When you get to character selection screen, you should see a button bottom left 'addons' check that your addons appear in here, and aren't listed as 'incompatible'

If your addons show 'out of date' look up at the top right, and you'll see a check box for 'load out of date addons' make sure there is a tick in the box.

If your addons don't show, make sure that they have extracted correctly, ie C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\PUB\ and not C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\PUB\PUB\

Global AceLibrary refers to the Ace Library, before Ace2 it was a global library, go to wowace.com and download it, should work fine after that.

AceLibrary is still a global, even in Ace2. The error means it's a global variable, not a "global library," which it has to be in order to run. The alternative would be a local variable, and if it were local, nothing would be able to access it!

RE: The error: Does your addon have the Ace dependencies in the correct folder? Most addons statically link them, so they should be a subfolder within the addon.

you need to extract all the files to C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns

Check in the folders for a "libs" folder - that's where the AceLibrary should be.

The structure should look like:

Interface
AddOns
addon1
addon2
addon3

Sometimes, such as with Ace addons, or those that have a GUI or use custom textures, there will be folders inside the addons themselves. Ace in particular will have a "libs" folder.

Everyone should read this FAQ if they haven't yet: http://www.wowinterface.com/forums/f...all_doesntwork

Pay close attention to the folder hierarchy of your addons - when you unzip your downloads, do NOT do anything to change their default folder setup. If you ever think that you may have done that, look at the .toc (table of contents) file that comes with each addon - inside will be a list of all contents the addon uses and where they need to be within that folder.

Each addon needs to be listed separately in your Interface\AddOns folder - this is so that the game can see what you have and list them all for you.

WRONG:
Interface\AddOns\my l33t addons\FuBar
................................................\FuBar-PerformanceFu
(here, you are placing the addons into an extra folder)

WRONG:
Interface\AddOns\fubar\FuBar
.........................\performancefu\FuBar-PerformanceFu
(here you are placing your addons in extra folders)

CORRECT:
Interface\AddOns\FuBar
Interface\AddOns\FuBar-PerformanceFu
(here, each addon is in its own folder, and not inside an extra)

There is no limit to the number of addons you can have installed, only by how many your system can run at the same time (you may also sometimes have issues with some addons interacting with one another, especially if they attempt to do the same type of thing).

What are the names of the non-Blizzard folders in your AddOns folder? In other words, which mods are you trying to install, and what are their folder names as you see them in AddOns?
