nUI and WoW on Windows 7 ?

I've got a report from a user running nUI with WoW under Windows 7 that states he is seeing big memory usage in nUI and game freezes.

I have two questions related to that looking for some feedback...

Is anyone else running nUI and WoW on a Windows 7 machine?

If you are, are you seeing any memory usage problems or game lockups?

Sorry, not as of yet. Was waiting until my computer finally wigs out on me before I get Windows 7 to do a new reinstall.

Been running W7 64bit for a long time now, and WoW/nUI perform the same as on Vista 64bit. Maybe a bit better.

Tho, with 8GB I don't look at addon memory useage much these days.

/edit
Haven't seen nUI going over 30mb so far..

Scott,

There is a beta release of Virtual Box that supposedly works for games. I've been too lazy to check it out, but if/when I do, I'll let ya know how 7 RC works with nUI.

I have wow on my W7 Machine... I will install nUI and check it out get back to you soon about it.

*EDIT UPDATE*

I haven't noticed any changes in the function of wow or nUI on windows7... I have noticed its not taking as much memory as it does on my xp machine. on W7 I am running nUI with 12-14 mbs but I do notice its dynamic from me just sitting doing nothing I watched it jump from 12 to 14 and there were no spells casted on me or any changes in my group or party. where as on my xp machine... I see it running 16 - 20 mbs... same exact everything except the operating system.

AMD Athlon 64 X2 2700 w/ 8gigs of ram... smoothest UI i've ever come across

Using windows 7 64bit and as far as I can see it has neither improved or decreased gameplay. I still get 10fps in raids and 30+fps elsewhere depending on where I am and what is happening. I suspect in my case my nvidia 7600 is not cutting it anymore

Ahh.. that would definitely be the reason.

I use Windows 7 64 bit as well, but I don't notice any problems directly related to nui, most of what I have noticed are either (other) addon related or hardware problems on my machine. The only thing that I might think of that could be a combined issue is a possible conflict with lua error reporting, Auctioneer, and nui. Whenever I mouse over any item right after logging in, there is usually an error that pops up that says "error indexing (money i think), got nil value" when I had Auctioneer enabled. A few days after installing nui, that error caused wow to stop responding. I had to ctrl+alt+del to get the task manager and kill wow. Uninstalling Auctioneer stopped it. I will check their forums and see if they know about that.
