Question Prat -- player name coloring

hello all

i know prat supports this, yet i cannot find anything in its configuration settings. i want to know how to color a player's name. note: i am not talking about the players name right after the timestamp, i am talking about when someone types someone else's name that it colors.

example:

I think it's an option called "Color names everywhere", on the same page as the option for coloring a player's name. I'll log in and check for sure, but I seem to remember it being that.

Yeah, it's a check box with "Color names everywhere" beside it.

I'm using the latest version and have Keep Info / Keep lots of info both checked, as well as the Playernames module enabled.

See if that does the trick.

AFAIK I think using Prat you need to make sure you go into the OPTIONS.INTERFACE and make sure you have clicked the "show class colored names" thing checked in the blizard game settings. I seem to remember there being that one little thing with some addons that had to have that checked to make it work.

I want to bring this old post up. I'm currently having the same issue and can't find any solution in settings (obviously the previous tips in this topic don't fix the problem).

The settings in prat are still the same as in the pic above. What should I check in there? Is there something else I should fix? Any help appreciated.

Rightklick on a tab on your chatframe and go to options and enable classcolor for all channels.

To clarify, the game itself now provides an option to color names by class in the chat frame -- you don't need Prat or any other addon to do it.
