Okay, I may be female, but even I know there's more to life than that. You forgot booze and red meat.

I'll skip the beer, never really liked the taste of alcohol. I'll just take food, a decent woman, a good game, and an outlet for my programming. lol

I just finished a 200-page section for my doctoral.

You people seem to have more fun on my thread than I did writing.

BTW, I don't listen to women--any women for that matter.

Really? Was that at all necessary? I think not.

Yep, I had to practice my "trolling."

It's OK Nob, I only listen to one person here and that Cair. She's my long lost crush.

I've actually done the same thing. I slowly got them all restored one by one..

DX

I want to do it again. I like starting over. But, le sigh.

It's hard--you sit and think about ALL the time you invested in multiple toons, and for me that was a paladin, rogue, shaman, priest, and warlock.

Lots of achievements you can't get any more.

Gear that is no longer offered or mounts.

Eh, I got bored, I needed something. I've taken several breaks and it just wasn't happening.

My rogue is pretty much done, she's fully geared in Conquest Elite PVP gear so there's not much fun in that.

My other four toons are PVE and they're Fireland geared. I have no desire to raid since I need nothing and the encounters don't do anything for me.

So, starting over is about all I have--besides walking away.

I figure starting over as horde will give me a different story, or I'll just get pissed and send my mucho love to GM's and get them restored LOL.

All of the time... and money DX

I'm so bipolar on my characters. I get so excited to raid (just cleared Firelands for the first time on Tuesday), but then I get in these dumpy moods where I just don't want to play or I want to start over.

I should stop playing or take a break. But see, I have nothing else to do. NOTHING. I stay at home. I have no job and no school. I have no friends. Ada;ksjlkajsdlkajsd.

Now you're just being silly.

Honestly, people, it's not that hard. You're bored with the game. Stop playing it. I guarantee you'll find TONS of stuff to do once you don't automatically log in to WoW every day. Here's some ideas, shared from experience:

The first thing I did after quitting was to catch up on my reading. Go to the library and reread old favorites, or discover new ones. Go to the bookstore and check the bestseller list. Heck, order books off Amazon and you don't even need to leave the PC.

Next, re-watch all your favorite movies. Watch all the movies you can find of a particular genre you enjoy. Watch all movies that star Johnny Depp, Jared Leto, Jude Law, Heath Ledger, Christian Bale, Bradley Cooper or whatever sexy actor currently holds your interest.

Donate your old clothes to charities or sell them at thrift shops and buy a whole new wardrobe.

Discover a passion for cooking and try out new recipes. Try going vegetarian. Burn down your kitchen (that might be just me though).

If all else fails, there are other video games beside WoW. Have you played Dragon Age? Portal 2? Starcraft 2?

Buy a Kinect and play Dance Central. Do it!

Well, I have no transportation and live with my Father. So I have to work around his daily life. Health problems have kept me from doing much, I've even had to put off college.

I love to read and write, but again, health problems help void that inspiration.

And I would love love love to do more about our meals. But I live with old people who are set in their ways.

I have more problems than quitting WoW, that I won't go into. It's an escape for me. I've spent the last 5 years playing, and it helped me through my teen years. My characters aren't sick and in pain all of the time. It's nice.

Very similar here. Definitely try and improve diet though, it can be the key to recovery. This year alone I've gone from 1hr at the computer at most to 8hrs from a diet change.

My diet is almost non-existent. It's hard for me to keep any food down ):
And my stomach is just as hard as a rock. Not fun.

Still in the process of figuring out wtf is wrong. It's just taking forever.

Tried juicing/smoothies? I had pretty terrible mal-nutrition from an abused digestive system, and a few juice fasts / green smoothies helped a fair bit. Juicing is good because it takes no energy to digest it, and all the nutrients get absorbed, but it does require effort or a juicer. Smoothies are very similar, because the food is now in a liquified form it takes a lot less effort to digest.

My physical problems have lasted for around 8 years now, ever since I left high-school I just slowly went downhill. Thousands of dollars spent on medical examinations didn't find anything wrong, so I just assumed I'd be screwed forever. However, the human body has an amazing ability to self heal, as long as we give it the right things and treat it well.

Green Smoothies
Fasting
