Threat Plates (TP for short) is a addon for customizing your nameplates. It offers a high amount of customization and tweaks to how your nameplates react and look. It also offers some unique features that are not available with any other nameplate addon. I've spent a considerable amount of time improving this addon and any comments or concerns about this addon are appreciated. I'm always looking for ways to improve this addon.

Features:

SharedMedia support and many, many, options for name, health, level, and spell text. As well as all of the standard nameplate features such as castbar and icon, elite icons / textures, skull icons / textures, raid marks, and healthbar coloring/alpha/scale.
Ace3 profiling.
Low memory footprint.
Threat system management.
Automatic talent detection and role assigning for an easy out of the box setup.
Customizable widgets.
Customizable totem nameplates.
Customizable nameplates for extra customization for specifically named units.

Commands:

/tptp - Displays options.
/tptptoggle - Toggle Role from one to the other.
/tptpdps - Toggles DPS/Healing threat plates.
/tptptank - Toggles Tank threat plates.
/tptpol - Toggles nameplate overlapping.
/tptpverbose - Toggles addon feedback text.

A considerable amount of information about options and its internal priorities are not gone into details. Most options that are enable or disable based will toggle off options that are no longer changeable once enabled or disabled. Fixed a Lua error with Auras widget that occurred when switching icon styles because an invalid default value was used for vertical alignment of duration and stack text [Comment #7324, #7325].
Fixed a Lua error that could occur in rare cases when leveling up.
Updated integrated libraries (Ace3 Release-r1341, LibCustomGlow v1.0.3-11-g5bc2b61-alpha).

This GREATLY reduces the chance of tainting the glyph/talent UI. STATICPOPUP_NUMDIALOGS essencially = 4. During wrath most authors put 3 and during wrath it helped. But in 5.x it seems even using 3 causes problems. using 1 or 2 DEFINITELY causes problems. threat plates is usin no index so it's absolutely tainting. This is obviously still a blizzard issue. But if all addons try to stick to 4, or STATICPOPUP_NUMDIALOGS it goes a long way to stabalizing the UI why you use STATICPOPUP_NUMDIALOGS instead of 4. Same reason using STATICPOPUP_NUMDIALOGS vs 3 in wrath was better. because now all the mods that used 3 instead of STATICPOPUP_NUMDIALOGS are out of date and broken again. the mods that used STATICPOPUP_NUMDIALOGS automatically will always use the highest possible index value currently supported ensuring the least possible of running into blizzard taints which start in lower index numbers Last edited by MysticalOS : 12-14-12 at 09:36 PM.

1. Classcolor Problem:
class color for monk is C010060 but that the RAID_CLASS_COLORS make it expect C010059
works fine if i add this to line 332 of TidyPlatesCore.lua

2. Classicon Problem:
Class icon for monks enemys is only showing up if you enable fiendly Icons at Threat Plates Widgets.
If you enable user controlled colors at Nameplate adjustment it still showns player enemys in classcolor but if you now also enable enemy class colors its not showing both the nameplates just get red like blizzards.

The class icon is either cached by mouseover class identification (ie the friendly caching) or by the monk color in the nameplate (unit.Class provided by tidy plates core) which if it's giving the wrong return won't display monk icons.

How did you fix this? mines doing the same thing o.O

If ingame option of tidyplates won't work for you...
go into TidyPlates and open TidyPlatesPanel.lua
Open it with a text editor and search for "defaultPrimaryTheme" (its in line 12) and replace this code

Debuff Widget not functioning with the tray over the plates on mouseovers, or on selected targets. This is dealing with themes. The old Threatplate theme utilized the debuff widget plus the target highlighting. It only uses target highlighting now. <edit> Found the missing connection for the Threatplate Theme and debuff tray + target highlights. Settings in two different menus. From what I can tell there are no issues within Threat Plates and it is solely Tidy Plates interaction and internal errors as of this moment.

There is an issue with the method that Tidy Plates is determining if a nameplate is indeed a nameplate. So it attempts to skin a non-nameplate frame and causes issues.
