Since patch 3.3, this addon is unnecessary. The project has been abandoned.
By some reason, Blizzard decided that players could only track 10 quests at a time. They also prevented players from tracking some kind of quests (like the ones when the player has to talk and/or deliver a message to an npc), arguing that they "don't have objectives".
That's why Endless was born. It allows the player to track any quest or achievement, and how many he wishes. No limits! It also saves tracked quests and achievements between sessions, which may help the player to remember what he was doing last time he played.
Features:
Allows the player to track any quest or achievement, and how many he wishes
Saves tracked quests/achievements between sessions
Fixes many WatchFrame bugs which Blizzard introduced with 3.1
No configuration needed

Beta 5
Fixed all the quests' items bugs
Fixed a bug causing the WatchFrame to be with full alpha when no objectives are being tracked
Slightly improved the WatchFrame updating code
Beta 4
Updated for 3.1
Endless now works both for quests and achievements
Endless now fixes many WatchFrame bugs which Blizzard introduced with 3.1
Beta 3
Endless now uses an word per word size counting system, which will reduce the chances of the quest tracker being sized incorrectly
Changes the method that hooks the quest log to a safer one
Beta 2
Quests with no "real objectives" no longer have their description repeated in the quest log
Fixed some bugs causing the quest tracker text to be placed/sized incorrectly
Removed a line printing results from internal calculations in the chat (which I forgot to remove last version)
I get this error sometimes upon login, doesn't seem to be affecting anything. I can list addons I use if needed.

And as always, thank you for creating a useful addon.
Ok, I think I've finally been able to fix the majority of the Blizzard bugs/inconveniences. Haven't been able to finish quests with item buttons, but it's almost perfect.
Originally posted by Phanx I've actually never been able to resize the WatchFrame, only move it, even with no addons at all enabled and/or with completely clean settings.
It's hard to figure it out, I now, Blizzard sucks . Try to drag the BottomLeft corner of the frame. If you want to see it for yourself, search for "ResizeThumb" in the WatchFrame.xml file: http://wowcompares.com/3119835/FrameXML/WatchFrame.xml.

Glad to hear it.

Originally posted by Phanx Well, today I was tracking 3 quests, with a total of 4 objectives between them, and tried to track a 4th quest, and got:
"You don't have space to track any more objectives, stop tracking some first."
Apparently the new objectives frame is not "endless".
Further experimentation seems to indicate that the frame can only track a total of 5 objectives now (as opposed to 5 quests before) regardless of where they're coming from...

What am I trying to do? Make the WatchFrame "smart", so that it increases and decreases its size automatically when objectives are added and/or removed.
P.S: I'm glad to announce that achievements will be also "endless" in the next version.

It appears that Blizzard finally decided to allow players to track a larger number of quests and achievements. This feature will be released in the patch 3.1.
Depending of how Blizzard develops it, I may discontinue Endless. If not, I may have to change its name.

Which error? Can you explain what it says, and when it occurs?
EDIT: Found the problem... easy to fix.
It should work in next version.

If you do decide to create another mod to add features/options to this there are a couple I would like to see. I'm not sure how difficult these might be to implement but they would be nice additions.
All what is asked is possible, but I have other projects which I need to develop first. I will do these ones soon as I can...
The features will be arranged the following way:
Auto track accepted quests and deselect completed quests: I will create a separate mod which will have these features
Mouse over to display quest details: For this one, I'm not sure what to do. I already had this idea, but I don't know if it will be included in an addon which I have in mind for a long time (totally redesigns the quest log and animates the quest tracker) or if in a separate addon

Auto track accepted quests (if you click accept on a quest it gets tracked)
Deselect completed quests (once you complete the requirements for a quest it is removed from the tracker)
Mouse over display quest details (if you mouse over a quest title in the tracker it displays the summery of the quest requirements in a tooltip)

Hmm... I don't know, I never thought about that. But, if I decide to create such kind of feature, it will be in a separate addon, because I don't want Endless to have any kind of configuration.
