We have 10 copies of the popular World of Warcraft Programming book and we will be raffling off 2 every week for 5 weeks!
About the Book:
WoW is more than an acronym...
. . . it's what you'll say when you see how many ways you can tweak the interface after you read this book. If you're new to programming, we'll teach you the basics of Lua and XML and walk you through writing your first addon. If you already have some original addons in your arsenal, jump right into Parts III and IV and work with templates, function hooking, custom graphics, state headers, and more. We'll even help you distribute your addons, making WoW better for everybody.
About the Authors:
- James "Cladhaire" Whitehead II is the author of LightHeaded, PerfectRaid, Clique, TomTom, and other addons available at www.wowinterface.com. He is also coauthor of Hacking World of Warcraft.
- Bryan "Kaelten" McLemore joined the UI community in early 2005 and cofounded the Ace Project and WowAce.com. His "day job" is in Web development.
- Matthew "Cogwheel" Orlando is the author of BuyEmAll, CogsBar, MacroTalk, and other popular WoW addons. He's a programmer and maintains Cogwheel's Complete Macro Guide.
